Screen dims and flashes “expansion/audio” buttons every 5-10 seconds during a webinar on Safari browsers. I tried this with both a Mac and iPad with the same symptoms. It’s simply unusable.
@Lcopps Sorry to hear you are having issues with the webinar.
Where did you log the ID? Were you using the new GoTo app (with the G and yellow swish) or the Classic GoTo Webinar experience (blue daisy-like icon)?
If you would like to PM me the Webinar ID (click on KateG on the left, which will take you to a new page, on the top right you can Message Me) and I can look at the status of the Webinar.
From what I gather from the comparability link is Safari is not supported. This means I am left with the GoTo Webinar app when I travel with my iPad. I tried to start up that app and put the 9 digit number at the end of the URL I was issued to join the webinar, but the App told me the webinar was taken down or not found even though I was listening to it on the browser through the link. How can I get the proper 9 digit number from the link given to join the webinar?

Is this a standard webinar or a webcast?
You can use Safari to join through a meeting link and join using the desktop software, but Safari itself isn't support for joining a standard Webinar. You can find info on Webinar system requirements here.
