We have many attendees that find it difficult to adjust their view (to display the polls) and we have taken a screen shot of the fit button but it's not very good. It would be helpful if you had a good screenshot to use for instruction of this feature.
Hi @galmind,
That is correct. When you join a GoTo Training using the GoTo App and all the windows are merged, we display a control panel on the right that lets you adjust the way you view what the Presenter is sharing. This control panel is activated when you move the mouse cursor over the GoTo App window. You can also use your mouse scroll wheel to zoom in and out instead of clicking on the + and - symbols.
The Fit Window option that is displayed between the + and - symbols disables zooming and shows you the entire image that is being shared in a scaled size relative to the screen resolution of the Presenter's screen and your own. So if the Presenter has a 4K screen and they are sharing their entire desktop, but an Attendee has a 1080p screen, the Presenters desktop will be scaled down to fit inside the GoTo App window on the Attendee's screen. As there are so many different screen shapes and resolutions, it is ultimately up to each Attendee to adjust their view to suit their setup.
With the Pop-out view, the GoTo Training windows can be resized and moved independently and offers a lot more flexibility to the Attendee, especially if they have more than one screen.
Actually, I do not encourage them to use the Pop out button. This is something I need to understand better. The fit button is this - right?
Hi @galmind welcome to the GoTo Community.
We do have a lot of resources that show product features but I'm unsure what you mean by the fit button? What instructions are you giving to your attendees? Are you instructing them to use Pop out mode?
