I noticed a charge on my credit card that occurred over the weekend for an auto annual renewal. I need for you to refund and cancel the account. I do not use the service and I do not need the phone number. You can close the account entirely.
I called immediately once I saw the pending transaction and a representative said they were not able to offer a refund for the auto annual renewal. I need for you to escalate my Case #21244411.
I never received a reminder of the annual renewal date prior to the charge otherwise I would have cancelled the account beforehand.
Also, you increased the annual price of the service from $148.77 for 2024 to $224 for 2025.
Please be aware that Florida statue 501.165 states the following:
A 501.165 violation occurs when a seller does not comply with Florida Statute 501.165 regarding automatic renewal of service contracts. This statute requires that sellers disclose automatic renewal provisions clearly and conspicuously in the contract. It also requires that consumers be notified of automatic renewal at least 30 days but no more than 60 days before the contract renews.
If I do not receive a response in a timely manner regarding a refund and cancellation, I will be filling a dispute regarding this recent charge and submitting the 501.165 violation with the State of Florida.
