Recording won't play but says . . .

In Goto Meeting, our recording will not play but instead shows, "Nobody has shared their screen or turned on their camera yet". We have never shared screens or used the camera, but for a few years simply call in on our phones and then go online to download the recording.

From reviewing your meeting history more closely I see that your meetings are scheduled as PSTN only, and not hybrid which allows PSTN and/or computer audio. I ran a few more test meetings and the one that was PSTN only like yours did not capture any audio, so I am reporting this to our developers.

In the mean time what you can do is change your meetings to hybrid where both computer audio and PSTN are supported. Your attendees can still dial in without entering an audio PIN the same way they have been doing.

Hi GlennD,

Thank you for the prompt response. Our recorded audio will play but there is no sound with speakers turned all the way up on my computer and on Media Player both. We had used Goto Meeting for a few years with no problems but weeks ago when that message came up, we could no longer hear the recordings (older recordings we can still hear--those without the message).

By any chance do you have any hints or things you recommend I try? TIA

Hi @TeresaT, welcome to the community.

The message about screen and webcam sharing is just to inform anyone playing the recording, so they are not confused when nothing is displayed. The the recorded audio from the meeting session should still playback, and did when I just tested it with an instant meeting.
