Help uninstalling LogMeIn Rescue client

Question

A vendor recently instructed me to install Log Me In Rescue for remote access.

Now I cannot find a way to uninstall it.

What I see is a directory in C:\Program Files (x86)\LogMeIn Rescue Applet\LMIR0C566001.tmp

There is nothing in add/remove programs for "Log Me In" or "Rescue".

How do I uninstall this?

Thanks Glenn, and happy new year!  I found a few entries in the registry that point to that directory in program files.  I will go ahead and delete that directory.  The registry entries will just have to be left behind.

Hi @zap42, welcome to the community.

The LMI Rescue client software that you downloaded was temporary, and just for that support session. While some temporary files are left behind, the Rescue applet automatically removes itself at the end of the session which is why you do not see it listed as something you can uninstall.
