Its been well over two years. This is still a problem. Y'all hiring a developer? I would gladly accept minimum wage for a week just to fix this.

Thanks for getting back to me and sharing it, I can understand it's not an easy process.
The product team informed me that we are releasing a Contact History page where users can manage their old CSV imports and delete old entries, this may work for you, by deleting the old import with the old contacts and re-importing the new contacts with updated names. This is coming in the next 3-4 weeks.

Hi Kate,When i imported my CSV of contacts, I made sure that the `company` field was filled out. Please see here for screenshot of CSV file. There are contacts in this file that do not have a first name or last name field populated, only leaving the company field populated.When I search or open these specific contacts in the app (mobile or desktop), the displayed name is "unnamed" or simply the phone number. However upon further inspection, the company name is populated. It is only upon opening contact, > editing contact > making no changes > and hitting save, does the issue resolve. This is a solution. However, having 2,000 plus contacts makes this approach unreasonable.

The app uses a single "Name" field for contacts, which can be filled with either a person’s first and last name or a company name. If you prefer not to enter an individual’s name, you can use the company name instead as a workaround.
Could you help us understand your workflow? Are you intentionally not tracking the individuals calling, or could these unnamed contacts be the result of an import or sync issue? Your feedback and use case will help understand the need for this feature. Thanks.

Hi Kate, thanks for getting back to this on such an old thread.Please see attached for examples of contacts that only have the "Company" field filled out but the name does not appear. It simply states "unnamed". Now when a first and last name are filled out, it populates just fine. But most of these numbers are for business offices.

This was a known issue (bug) that has since been corrected. Can you please provide details on the issue that you are having?
