Prevent LogMeIn Resolve Unattended from auto-updating

Hello, wondering if anyone has had any success preventing LogMeIn Resolve Unattended from automatically updating. GoToResolveUnattendedUpdater.exe keeps being detected as malicious (Even though the recommendation is to make an exception which we would rather not do) and we would like to just manage and control the update ourselves. Manually download the latest update and roll it out using our deployment software (Config Manager). Thank you!

This is not currently possible and I do not believe it is on the roadmap. Which security application is giving the false positive result about the Resolve updater?

We are also experiencing this issue across our organisation (Sophos is our security application), and we are getting multiple security alerts for the same devices.

Is there an update on this?

Hi Glenn. In the last 2 weeks Sophos Intercept X, Cortex XDR and now Windows Defender. I have opened up a support case and was informed that it was not possible from there end (LogMeIn) or from the console. Just didn't know if anyone had figured out some other mechanism. I do upload the files for analysis with the various AV vendors so they can make exceptions. It is just alarming when the events are triggered and we would rather just control the updating ourselves.
