Must say I am shocked been a goto webinar supporter for 11 years

I realized a problem with the recordings and I am told thats just the way it is

here is the problem

essentially

1. their is no way to provide a link to the recoding only for a period of time. So if I want to stop someone from accessing the recording then i have to remove the recording of the library - shocking
2. if I give someone the link by mistake even though they have not attended the webinar they still can watch the recording- it would be nice that only attendees are able to watch the recording
3. I cannot revoke email if I give them the link by mistake, ie i thought they attended the webinar gave them the link then realized
4. And lastly and the most terrifying part. Regardless of who I give the link to they are able to pass that link onto anyone they like ie 1000000 of their closest friends who can then watch my recording . that is shocking and a deal breaker

weirdly I can see all this you can change in goto meeting but not goto webinar

Is all this correct or is their actually a solution and the agent didnt know what he was talking about .

Welcome to the community.

Thank you for your honest feedback and for being a loyal GoTo Webinar supporter for over a decade. I'd like to address your concerns and offer possible alternatives:

• Anyone with access to that link can view it, regardless of whether they actually attended the webinar.
• If you want to restrict someone from accessing your recording link you would have to remove it from the library.
• You can make it so attendees are the only ones sent the link to watch the recording after, you don't have to use the other share video option from the library. Under Event Details and Email you will see this option.

• For more insight into who is viewing your webinar, you could create an recorded webinar where you can manage registration by manually approving registration or restricting certain domains, you could also control how long the webinar is available, and this can be changed at anytime. If set to manual approval, the registrant will see this:

• If you want a private webinar you can record it and download the video to self host or upload to a dedicated video hosting service
