As part of our continued commitment to delivering a stable and reliable Rescue experience, we’re pleased to share an upcoming update to the Rescue Calling Card.
On May 7, 2026, GoTo will make Rescue Calling Card version 7.54.1329 available. This release includes targeted improvements to session handling behavior, specifically designed to enhance reliability in certain system restart scenarios.
Who this Impacts
This update applies to customers currently running Calling Card version 7.54.1328:
- Default Calling Card users: The new version will be applied automatically the next time the Calling Card is launched after May 7, 2026.
- Fixed Calling Card versions: If your environment is configured to use a fixed Calling Card version and 7.54.1328 or below is selected, the update will not occur automatically. We strongly recommend updating to 7.54.1329 to take advantage of these reliability improvements.
- Please Note: The Calling Card version is either fixed or set to default within Rescue’s backend. If you have questions specific to your account or would like confirmation of your current setting, please reach out to Customer Support or your dedicated Customer Success Manager.
What to expect
- Administrative privileges are required to complete the update.
- If admin rights are not available on the machine where the Calling Card is installed, the update will not be applied, and the existing Calling Card will start as normal.
