This post is a follow-up to my original comments posted on 1-7-26.
The main grievance we have is routinely managing the Questions Pane for large audiences, which commonly exceed 1k attendees. Last night's webcast had 1,150 attendees. Aside from my original post here, we have also expressed concern to GoTo Support about the fact that we consider the New GTW Experience a step backwards in utility and function when compared to the Classic interface. The New Experience Questions Pane takes A LOT of continuous vertical scrolling to manage the questions due to their large appearance. Questions also have to opened individually to answer them, resulting in an unwieldy Questions Pane experience.
After expressing our discontent several times to GoTo Support, we received the following reply on 3-4-26, which we welcomed:

Thank you for reaching out with your concerns regarding the migration to the new GoTo App.
I understand how vital platform functionality, particularly handling questions and groups in the classic (v10) experience, is for your webinars.
I've had to check with my team whether keeping the classic (v10) experience will be an option after the migration date.
Here’s some important information about the migration and how it impacts your account:
Migration Date: Your account will be migrated to the new GoTo App on March 25, 2026.
I've got the confirmation that after this point, you will not be able to switch back to the v10 classic experience.
However, from our documentation it seems that Large Audience Webinars will still default to the classic v10 experience.
I've contacted the respective team to get more information about it as the details are unclear to me. I'll keep your case open until I can confirm the following to you:
While most sessions and features will be handled in the new GoTo App, webinars and virtual events with more than 1,000 participants will still launch in the classic v10 experience. This ensures optimal performance for large-scale events.
Standard webinars and events with fewer than 1,000 participants will take place in the new GoTo App.
»Webcasts with fewer than 500 attendees will use the new GoTo App, while webcasts with over 500 attendees will default to the v10 classic platform.
I understand that you’ve expressed a preference for the v10 experience due to its handling of groups and questions. While the migration means that smaller webinars (<1,000 attendees) will take place in the new GoTo App, I hope the continued use of the v10 experience for large audience webinars meets your needs.
We took this as as good news. We ran our events using the Classic interface and all was well - until this week. That's when we discovered that the above is not true and we've been "upgraded" to the New Experience once more. While I can certainly understand accessibility needs and Section 508 requirements, an interface design that no longer works as an effective tool for managing our events is not an improvement, it's a setback. Had the deployments of the New Experience interface and the Classic interface been historically reversed, we believe moving from the New to the Classic would be seen as a huge leap forward in utility from an organizer's perspective.
