So it looks like the new GTW experience is here to stay, although it's a much less efficient tool for us to manage large webinars than the classic version. Another downgrade is that the Paste Recent Answer function has been replaced by several canned answers that don't necessarily have anything to do with the webinar in progress. This is another step backwards in attendee management. Another step backwards is the confirm-delete function that doesn't seem to have an on/off switch. Couldn't this be added to the Settings properties? Having to confirm-delete every question or comment is both tedious and annoying.
Hi @ASEWebinars
Thanks for the additional context. I hear you that the recent changes are affecting how you manage large webinars in particular.
While the new GoTo Webinar experience helps address accessibility requirements like 508 compliance, I understand your concern that it doesn’t necessarily make managing large audiences easier in practice. I’ve passed that perspective along to the team.
Thanks again for taking the time to share this — feedback like this is really valuable for the team as they continue improving the experience.
KateG,
Yes, we answer most questions privately and then share with others as need. For announcements to the whole audience, we use chat.
The new GTW experience may meet 508 requirements, but it's not better for managing large audiences. It's different, but not better. Better is better.
