Summer is in full swing, and we’re back with another roundup of the latest updates to GoTo Meeting. These new features are designed to help you communicate more smoothly, stay connected with participants, and create a better meeting experience for everyone involved. Read below for more!
View contact information. See and edit available contact information for anyone who joins your session. As desired, you can add them as official contacts (personal or shared) so that they are accessible to interact with from your Contacts page in the GoTo app. Learn more.
Organizers can also can access GoTo Connect Contact information directly during a live session, without ever leaving the session. See who you are talking to, act on their contact details, and create new contacts on the spot!
Test your audio. Record and replay a short audio sample to check your microphone's clarity and volume before you speak. This is not currently available on the mobile app. Learn more.
Control participants camera. Organizers or meeting hosts can now send requests to other participants to have them turn their camera on. They can also immediately turn off a participants camera at any time. Learn more.
Spotlight feature updates. Participants can now pre-set their spotlight preference so that it's ready to go when they become the presenter. Additionally, the feature is no longer dependent on actively sharing a camera. If your camera is off or unavailable, your profile image or name will be spotlighted. Lastly, presenters can now also enable spotlight directly from the share preview window when they are selecting the desired screen to show to reduce friction. Learn more.
