In case you missed it, here is a quick recap of what was shared in our August Feature Retrospective.
Android and iOS Device Management (open beta)
Resolve's mobile device management has been fully rebuilt. IT teams can now enroll, configure, and manage iOS and Android devices from the same console they already use for Windows endpoints — no separate MDM tool required. MDM 2.0 introduces enrollment profiles, lost mode, remote wipe, application management, and a unified device list that puts mobile and desktop side by side.
Available on Complete & MSP Dominate plans
Pre -Session Remote Control Settings
Technicians can now configure remote control behaviors — such as blanking the end user's screen or locking their keyboard and mouse — before the session begins, rather than after connecting. Settings can be saved per device so they apply automatically to future sessions with no additional setup.
Separated File Management Permissions
File management is now split into two distinct permission sets: in -session file management (available during an active support session) and background file manager access (available anytime, without an active session). Admins can grant one without the other, enabling more precise control over what technicians can access.
Account -Level Setting for Remote Print
Admins can now control whether the Remote Printer appears on managed devices from a single account -level toggle in GoTo Admin. Previously the remote print driver
installed on all managed devices by default; now accounts can disable it organization -wide without per-device configuration.
Delete Session Recordings & Personal Data
Admins can now permanently delete session recordings, AI-generated session notes, and personal data tied to specific sessions directly from the Resolve console. This supports data governance, privacy compliance requirements like GDPR and CCPA, and internal data retention policies.
Detailed Setting Changes in Activity Log
The GoTo Admin activity log now captures the specific details of setting changes — not just that a setting was changed, but what it was changed to. Admins can click
"View details" on any setting -change event to see the exact before and after values, supporting audit and governance needs.
Enhanced Patch History Navigation
Patch history results now include a unified error summary page with AI -powered explanations for each failure reason. Instead of digging through individual device records, technicians get a consolidated view of what went wrong and why — with plain -language context generated automatically from error data.
Device-Level Patch View
The Updates tab on each device's detail page now shows all pending and installed patches, OS and third-party, directly from the device profile. No need to navigate to a separate patch view; everything is visible in context alongside other device information on the same screen.
