Is there a way to configure the mail settings on a Android phone using LogMeIn Rescue + Mobile? I only see file management options.
file transfer is okay for dropping apk's on to the phone, but then the customer still has to know what they are doing to install it. Funny tho i thought droid would have been one of the easier phones to implement.
oh and i think driods now actually do have the marketshare.
Android support (system info, file transfer and chat) was added in the latest update of LogMeIn Rescue.
Almost once a week I could use Android support. Hello, LogMeRescue? Any one home?
Is there any particular reason we STILL don't have support for Android? I figured this would have been long done. It shouldn't be news to anyone that it's only a matter of time before Android overtakes the Smartphone market.
Please add Android support.
So what is the status on support for android? I thought it was supported looking at this site: https://secure.logmeinrescue.com/US/HelpDesk/MobileSupport.aspx but can't find it anywhere in the trial?
Err I mean iampedro
So unless I'm wrong being that this is the Rescue LMI forum, I'm assuming that Joeguyman was referring to LMI Rescue supporting droid access like the iphone, blackberry, and windows mobile. Whiche I would love to see happen. I have a lot of execs who have moved to Droids so it would be great to have that remote support capability like the other mobile phones.
I use logmein ignition to login to my work pc and then initiate and administer the rescue session from there.
--- I actually don't even have a windows pc anymore, just linux, so I login to my linux pc via vnc and start a vm of win xp that has logmein free installed, then I jump into ignition and go from there
It works surprisingly well over 3G.
Hope that helps
