This Troubleshooting section of the board is intended for you to request help from (and give help to) your fellow LogMeIn Rescue users here. They are our biggest knowledge base, and have up-to-date, hands-on experience and may well have encountered the same issue as you.
If you do have an issue, it is suggested thay you follow these steps (in order) before posting:
1)
Do a search of the forums. Someone may have had the same issue as you in the past and there may be an answer to just your issue.
2)
Search our Rescue support page: https://secure.logmeinrescue.com/HelpDesk/Support.aspx 3)
Read the product documentation PDFs. Remember to use the Ctrl + F feature to find key words in the documents.
4) S
ubmit a post if you cannot resolve your issue using the above methods, but be sure to give as much detail as possible. (
Please note: LogMeIn people do check these boards on a frequent basis, but please
do not view these boards as a direct route to official LogMeIn Support - see point 5)
5) If you still cannot get help from all the above and/or your issue is serious or urgent
submit a support ticket to our Support team.
PLEASE, when you have an answer to your issue, DO post the answer in the original thread. Not only does this tie up the thread, but it also adds to the knowledge base when people search the forums.
These guidelines are not intended to stifle postings, far from it, but are intended to help you get the information you need as quickly as possible.
The measures listed above should guarantee the swiftest response and answer to any issue you may have.
