This is an interesting idea and a valuable one. I will pass this thread along to our Rescue Product Team.
Thanks,
Kevin
I agree fully. My company bought us all iPads and we were looking into 5 LogMeIn Rescue subscriptions, but I said no because there was no iPad app, so we are buying 5 GoToAssist accounts instead.
I agree. It seems lto me like Logmein is a large enough company that they should be able to throw some weight behind this.
It would make it easier for us and the app more appealing to new customers.
Any update on this? All our analysts have iPads they use for support, we could really use an app.
We would love it, too.
Together with Mac Rescue technician panel !
Incredible that this still has yet to be implemented....
Why are the product managers not pushing for this???? Customers are getting fed up of waiting.
Sorry Guys
Got fed up of waiting for you, my Rep here in the UK has kept promising it but it never happened, have moved over to Gotoassist this week after a month of trial and two years on Rescue
I don't like the desktop app as much and the ipad app is nowhere as good as logmein ignition but it does give me one app to work from and all my support sessions are logged.
I fail to see why the developed excellent ignition app could not be added to the Rescue suite so we could start a remote session from it, it's crazy and a good way to lose loyal customers !
I can't believe there's still no progress on this front. As a long time user, I have to say that Rescue still does most things better than GoToAssist, but I'm going to have to jump ship. It's just too much hassle to bootup a laptop when I'm away from my desk, considering the iPad gives me "instant on". My end users appreciate this increased responsiveness greatly. If you address this need, I'll be back, but for now, it was nice while it lasted.
I just had a client implement GoToManage. I was pretty impressed. Not only did they have an iPad app which was great but they also had a reporting functionality baked in.
I have been a long time use of LMIRescue however I will be shopping GTM once they offer custom branding of the session initiation. fastsupport.com doesnt cut it. I require something a little more custom.
Please add my name to the list of long time Rescue users/subscibers that would absolutely LOVE to not have to carry a laptop in order to support users and clients with the tool. PLEASE GIVE US AN iPAD APP!!!!
Not sure what number in the list I am, but this would be a massive deal for me and my company if Rescue was available for the iPad. Please, please, LogMeIn... make it happen...
cmon guys! We need an ignitino ipad app!!!
I second, third and fourth this request.
We have ignition and just recently got GoToManage from Citrix. Its iPad app works great. You should check it out. It comes free with a subscription to the service.
When?!
Hi all, Thanks for the feedback.
We are totally aware of the importance of this to many customers. While we cannot comment directly on our product roadmap, I can tell you that we continue to strive to innovate with our products in order to meet customer needs, and that Apple OS's are a big part of our future plans.
We have some great things coming down the pipeline!
Thanks-Lou
Yes I noticed that Citrix have beaten LogMeIn to it, my subscription is due for renewal so it gives me a tricky situation as I love Logmein
I support to member of Logmein a year ago and they said they were waiting for IOS multi-tasking and iPad 2 because of the way the legacy OS locks applications. Well they've been around for months now and still no sign.
Can anyone from Logmein confirm where this product is in the roadmap please?
I second that request totally. Please make the App or just let us know if there's any change that this will be the future?
Kind regards,
I use Rescue for work EVERY SiNGLE DAY! I would love to have the ability to do that from my iPad which I always have with me. I've done a work around with using Ignition to access work PC then firefox and rescue, but that's obviously very cumbersome.
Any idea when this will be released??? :smileyindifferent:
We pay a lot of money for our rescue subscriptions, this should be a free app. I love the ignition iPad app, its actually better than the desktop app which doesn't have WOL built in.
Please make us a Rescue app for the iPad!
Thanks!
YES PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE CREATE RESCUE FOR THE IPAD!!!!!!!!
ALSO RESCUE FOR THE MAC!!!!!!!!
:womanvery-happy:
Count me in too - I love the ease of use of Rescue I have off my notebook, but am literally holding out on buying an IPad until someone (LogMeIn!) releases Rescue or equivalent for it.
It's been nearly a year since this petition was started - can anyone at Logmein comment on their progress towards releasing this?
Yeah this would be great to have!
When, I really need this to support my clients Iphones and IPads.
I am going to go with the first company that brings this type of app to market GoToAssist also hes one on their roadmap!
I've got ignition and it's awesome but I need a one off support app too!
Count me in!!!
This would be very very handy!!!!!
I too am very interested in this expansion to the iPad. I am out with my iPad 10x more than I am my laptop..
count me in as well
Would purchase Logmein Rescue if this app was available
We've just bought an iPad and totally agree that the LogMeIn Ignition app was worth the purchase alone.
A LogMeIn Rescue app would actually be even MORE useful to us because we tend not to use LogMeIn for support to avoid customers worrying about anytime access to their computers.

Yes please come out with this app. I will be a killer app for tech support people using Rescue
I want to add to this vote, preferably adding the function to the existing app instead of a second app.
This will definately be a game changer. I hope they will get it done.
I'll add a third vote as well.
I contacted Tech Support on the day they launched the 3G version and asked for it. The support rep said that it is something that several people have asked for and it may already be in development. Let's hope that is a positive sign!

We'd like to second this petition!
