Hi all,
I recently setup a Windows 7 laptop running the Win 7 professional edition OS for a remote user. She has limited access for example she is unable to install applications.
She needs me to install flash plugins into ther computer. So I used Logmein rescue (using Firefox as my browser) and remoted into her computer.
I was able to get on and see her desktop but in order for me to gain access to her machine she needs to click on the "allow access button" on the logmein prompt that comes up.
So I got her to click on the allow access button and from her standpoint she gets prompted with a login screen which asks her to log in with administrative rights.Unfortunatley I am unable to see the same login prompt that she seess
Of course she doesn't have the admin password, and I wont be able to control her machine unless she logs in with the admin account.
Is there anyway to bypass this without giving the user admin rights? I am kind of stuck in a situation where I cant controll her machine and install applications. Any suggestions would be highly appreciated.
Best Regards,
G
