New user - totally confused

I have followed the instructions through and through but having a frustrating time.

I set up my acccount, sent a link to the client, she has installed the software (3 times), I created a network (3 times), I can see her pc in the networks when she launches the software, but her pc is not listed under "my computers" and there is no "remote desktop" button to click.

How do I connect to her pc? She is using XP SP3 and her user account is password protected. I am on Windows 7, if that matters.

I do consider myself pretty tech savvy, but this has me stumped. Any help is greatly appreciated.

I ran into the same problem and wasted may hours. I resolved it by using logmein Central, you can use it for free. Once you log into your Logmein central workspace, select the deploy tab and create a new link. Here you can specify what type of application you want to deploy, in my case I used logmein free.
