Regular browser crashes

Hi All.

My first post on this forum so go easy!

I am using firefox as a browser and supporting my users with logmeinrescue.

I regularly experience crashes from firefox which seem to be caused by log me in. The browser just stops responding all together. It mainly happens when i close a tab with logmein console running.

I am running the latest version of firefox although have had this same problem for at least a year using older versions of both the console and firefox.

Am i the only one having these issues?

Ok All.

Some more info on this.

LMI are aware of the issue. The issue is only occurring when running the console in a firefox window with other tab.

I have a temporary solution which is not ideal to say the least but works whilst LMI continue their investigation on the issue.

Use 2 FireFox browser windows. In one of them have your LMI console. Do not have any other tabs on this session.

Use your 2ND FireFox browser window to do your every day browsing with tab's etc.

As long as you do not use tab's on the same FireFox windows as the LMI Console the crash will not happen.

Again. This is not a full time solution but should help in the mean time.

Great to see an employee on here.

As im sure you've seen i do my best to help users where i can.

Been using LMI Rescue for as long as i can remember, so id like to think I'm ok with it!

This firefox issue has been killing me for a while though. I can even replicate it at will!

Sorry to double post. I couldnt find how to edit my original.

The crash also seems to occur every now and then when i put a session on hold.

I can also reproduce the problem by simply refreshing the page.
