Contolling mac from Windows keyboard will only type in upper case

From two different windows machines, I am getting upper case only on the remotely controlled mac. It is acting exactly like the SHIFT key is depressed.

For instance, when I hit the '/' key, I get the '?' mark, not the /..

Hitting Caps Lock or Shift has no effect.

This makes it impossible to navigate on the command line on the mac or enter case sensitive data.

I did a quick search of forums and posts, and nothing jumped out at me.

Has anyone else experienced such behavior, and if so, did you solve the issue?

I have experienced the same issue. My workaround is to type on my computer in Notepad, then copy and paste it onto the Mac session.

I got around that by using the On-Screen Keyboard in Programs->Accessories->Accessibility.

Hope they fix it, but at least we can work around it.

I have the same issue. Or only lowercase. Ignores the shift key. Makes it pretty much impossible to work on a many Mac problems without help from the user, since you can't type most punctuation (like email addresses, and many passwords). I've raised the issue with Support; they say it's fixed in the next version. Of course, that was months ago and I see no new version yet; in fact, no new version since last February.
