The new Rescue is here!

The new release
of LogMeIn Rescue is here and we're excited!

Now, with connect On-LAN and tear away remote control windows, you can

I hope thay have more than one developer, so they can work on new features and on bugfixes ...

Anyway, scan of available pcs on the network should be manual. I work on a corporate, and everytime I select that vew, I generate a lot of traffic that could be also reported as malicious.

Why do you continue to add all of these whiz-bang features while still not fixing the broken remote login applet, which routinely uses over 30% and up to 95% of the CPU, making the remote site unusable.

Please stop adding features that 1% of the community wants, and fix this bug!

(no - the bug is not fixed by disabling hardware acceleration or reducing process priority - as if those options should even be acceptable for a product that is supposed to work out-of-the-box)

I've been asking about a LMIR console for the mac for over a year now - still no feedback as to if / when it might happen. Would be sure good to hear somthing on this.

Are we ever going to see a release of the technician console that can be run on a mac? My company is migrating almost exclusively to Macs and ios devices, and it's a royal pain to have to maintain a virtual machine or login to a terminal server in order to use your product. I see by a quick search that people have been requesting this for years... are you listening?

There's no timeline to allow everyone to RC Android devices (currently telco companies who pre-deploy the Rescue app are able to). This is due to Android security restrictions. Until those are lifted there's not much that we can do. In the meantime we are working to enhance our capabilities around configuration, etc. Stay tuned!

You can disable Connect On-LAN in the Admin center, at the technician group level, in "Organization".

And one more question:

It's possible anyway to stop this new feature and use the rescue in the old way, without any new LAN-function? Maybe from administrator consolle?

Once logged in I can't run Logmein RESCUE!!!

It gives me this error:

"[2011-02-03 14.37.23] === Console avviata ===
[2011-02-03 14.37.24] Errore di comunicazione durante l'avvio della Console. Codice di errore (4), ultimo errore (87)."

Intalian means that consolle is running, but there's an error of comunication starting it.

Code of error: 4 Last error: 87

Maybe the problem is that I'using a proxy server? Maybe some port are closed?

Can you help me? tnx!
