When can we expect a new version of the plugin to work with Firefox 5?
Thanks,
Hi Brent, others,
Thanks for your note. Please be assured that our development team is working on this as a top priority and we hope to have it available for you very soon. We know this is critically important to you so we will let you know as soon as it's ready. I anticipate having something within the next few weeks.
Lou
I already downloaded and installed the new version of Rescue Logmein from this link:
https://secure.logmeinrescue.com/TechConsole/LogMeInRescueTechConsole_v1012.msi
It does seem to work but one thing I noticed is that I froze (like you can see the remote screen but cannot click on anything) every now and then. you have to wait for 3 minutes before the screen can be controlled again and then stops again..
Please advise
Doesn't that report the wrong version to every web site you use, though?
Do we have an ETA? We are having to downgrade Firefox for our employees who manage to have it upgrade almost daily. The plugin for IE 9 is buggy at best, please release the Firefox plugin ASAP.
I found it can be run using the IE tab add-on, but it's awfully annoying to have to do that. Especially since the regular (free) LogMeIn product already works with Firefox 5.
I have just upgraded to Firefox 5 & found that Logmein is not supported. Firefox 5 has been available for several weeks. Does that mean that The company will refund my licence fee?
I works in IE9 if you add 'logmeinrescue.com' to the Compatability View Settings.
I too have this problem and this is the only way I can get it to work!
It's jolly annoying to have a management workstation running FF5 and IE9 and not be able to run the Rescue applet at all.
Hi all, we are currently doing some testing w/ ff5 so stay tuned!
I've been searching for a Firefox 5 workaround with no avail! What's worse is that Firefox keeps prompting to upgrade to version 5. So please answer rbrohman's question.
