Can anyone tell me how I can (or if it is possible to) set up a shortcut on my Windows 7 desktop that includes my username and password, so that it will take me straight to the Technicians Console page without first having to enter my username and password?

You could ask internet explorer or firefox to save your credentials and then just put a link to the site on your desktop. You will still have to click the login button but it wont ask for credentials as they will be saved.
