LogMeIn Rescue Instant Chat and ConnectWise Integration

Has anyone integrated the LogMeIn Rescue Instant Chat feature with ConnectWise? If I can't figure out how to get this done soon I will have to switch to another software.

What I need is to have a client go to my website, fill out a simple form with their e-mail and some other info. As soon as they hit connect it would start an instant chat and create a ticket in ConnectWise. As well as some other functionality.

Any update on this? I am at the Connectwise User Group meeting and they are showing off NTR and the integration with CW. There are a bunch of people here asking about this type of integration.

What I need is for a client to go to my website, click a "Chat with Support" button. Then they would be required to fill in a form with their name and e-mail address. When they hit connect an Instant Chat should start in their web browser.

In ConnectWise a ticket should be created associated to the e-mail address in the form and when I go to enter time to that ticket, the chatlog and chat duration should populate the fields in ConnectWise automatically.

This is the same functinality that the current integration provides except with a different connection meathod. The current integration only allows the technician to create a session code for the client, this requires a ticket to be created in Connectwise and then a call to the client. I want to turn that around and have the client create the ticket and start the session by initiating an Instant Chat from my website.

Hope this makes sense. Thanks for your help, I am sure other partners who use Connectwise will benefit from this as well.

Thanks for your response. Can you share with me the exact type of functionality you are trying to accomplish via ConnectWise integration?

If you can provide me the details we can point you in the right direction in terms of how you can accomplish what you need using our API's. Unfortunately we can't build custom integrations for all requests, but we built our API's to accomodate many of them. I'm happy to work with you to figure this out and ease some of your frustration.

If you had read that document you would see that it never once mentions Instant Chat.

I contacted support, and after waiting on the phone for 30 minutes and getting disconnected once, the Level 2 Tech guy pointed me in the direction of the API.

Here is what it says under the CRM integration part.

"Integration with any platform via an API requires development. It is each customer’s responsibility to plan, resource, and develop its own integration effort."

Looks like it will be cheaper for me to move to another software than to develop my own integration. This is the type of integration that should be provided to us by LogMeIn, I cant be the only one requesting this functionality.
