Secure Desktop allowing on windows 7

Hi Forum,

Have anyone came across this issue please.

When you are connected to a windows 7 computer and trying to run a .exe file you do not get the secure desktop box pops up to click on run but it rather freeze the session and unfreeze it after like 5 mins but do not run the .exe file.

any help will be appreciated

This is because of UAC. IT is not freezing. What is actually happening is a UAC prompt is coming on the users screen but you are unable to see it.

To view and be able to control UAC prompts you need to restart the session as a service. You will then see these prompts and be able to click ok to them.

This will resolve the issue you are seeing.
