I am new to Logmein on iPad. I tried it and it did work but certain commands were comming up on a separate keyboard which was quite inconvenient. I decided to buy an external keyboard but, when I tried it at home, I was not able to get my email on the desktop to accept commands from the keyboard. I was also unable to move screens around as I am used to do it with a normal mouse.
Seeking an answer on this website, I found a note of 2012 indicating that Logmein does not support external keyboards. I disconnected the keyboard, made sure that the Blue Tooth on my ipad 2 was set to off and tried to access logmein again. I did access Logmein from the iPad but the problem persists.
What can I do?
I also tried to reboot my iPad. Still nothing.
The Logmein support does not work over the weekend and on Tuesday I am leaving on a trip to Europe. I was hoping to be able not to log around my laptop as I usually do. Does not seem to be...
Please help!
Hello Sergioa,
Thank you for your question and welcome to the community!
LogMeIn for iOS (iPad, iPhone, iPod) does not currently support third-party or external keyboards. You will need to use the on-screen keyboard included with the LogMeIn App when accessing computers remotely.
I hope this helps.
