Is Logmein Rescue compatible with Microsoft Surface RT Tablet?

One of my friend is now using the Surface RT tablet and when try to RUN the Rescue,

it gives "This application cannot run in this PC."

The Surface RT Tablet is in Desktop mode and using the Explorer Browser.

Also the UAC is disabled on Surface.

My friend can start the download , but is unable to RUN the rescue.

Is it possible to login to Surface RT Tablet via Rescue?

If so, How do I establish connection?

My LMI rescue subscription is about to end and I don't plan to renew it. There are other solutions such as TeamViewer which works on Windows RT as well as Windows Phone 8.

LMI is behind the times. If you go to their website here, https://secure.logmeinrescue.com/welcome/remotesupport/, you'll notice they support blackberry and the old windows mobile.

It's pretty disappointing as I prefer LMI Rescue over TeamViewer.

Ten months later, is there a fix yet??

At this time LogMeIn Rescue does not offer support for the Windows Surface RT tablet. The Windows Surface RT tablet is running a version of Windows 8 that is specific to the ARM CPU platform, which currently does not offer remote control capabilities for 3^rd party solution providers.
