I use log me in on my laptop while out on work to communicate with my desktop at home. When I first set it up, it worked awesome. After some time, I reworked my desktop with a new motherboard/cpu/hardrive. I did a fresh install of the same version of Windows 7 Professional. The desktop is smoking fast.
The new issue is when I log in from the field, everything is slow. When I open a window or folder, it is slow and choopy. Often when I click to print to my printer on my lsptop, nothing happens. I may click it s few times before it starts to move, and then it only gives one copy, like the frist few requests weren't recieved.
It feels like I am on a dial up connection, though I am using either broadband or Verizon 4g with is really good around here. The home PC is comcast broadband.
What could I have diffenet in my home PC than it used to be? A newer modern mobo/cpu should be able to comunicate much faster than needed for this, right. Are there any bios settings or windows settings I should look at?
