I wonder if LMIR is compatible with FF 22.
A recent release (not beta) of Firefox 22 does not appear to be compatible with a fresh plugin download of LogMeIn Rescue Technician Console 7.3.0.144.
Upon what is seemingly the conclusion of the installation Firefox 22 becomes unresponsive. A long enough wait will yield an opportunity to stop running scripts which gives back some control, enough to exit Firefox.
I saw threads in the LogMeIn Free forum regarding Firefox 22 beta, but this is not the beta release. That thread is /t5/Free/Firefox-22-beta-crashes-upon-login/td-p/96261/page/2
I can add that removing the plugin, restarting, and attempting a second install yielded this message:
Network error
Windows cannot access
C:\users\[me]\appdata\roaming\...\npRescuePostInstallProcedure.exe
I do not know what would have been included in the ellipsis dots.
...and I am not aware that Firefox offers a 64-bit version for Windows. In any event, task manager reports that the Firefox process is firefox.exe *32.
The platform is Windows 7 Ultimate 64-bit, Service Pack 1
The relevant browser headers when using Firefox 22 are:
Accept: text/html,application/xhtml+xml,application/xml;q=0.9,*/*;q=0.8
Accept-Language: en-US,en;q=0.5
User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.1; WOW64; rv:22.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/22.0
