"Communication error during login. Please check your Internet connection and try again."

I have a technician in my callcenter who is receiving the following error when launching the window desktop logmin rescue client .

His credentials work to login to the client software on other workstations. and No one is able to login on his workstation. We have uninstalled and reinstalled the client. their is not firewall software installed on this workstation, and windows firewall has been disabled for troubleshooting purposes.

In the interim we are able to get teh browser based plugin console for firefox to function just fine.

Any ideas????

Hello I just downloaded Hamachi and every time i start it up it says this "Please Check Your Internet explorer Setting and retry" and i don't know how to fix it if anyone could help me fix this problem i would appreciate it very much please and thank you

This is what worked for me. I went into the apple appstore and searched for "ignition" then downloaded the cureent version for both my iphone and ipad and it installed a new app which now says "LogMeIn" instead of the old one which use to say "Ignition" and both now work perfectly.

Check the local computer's proxy settings. Firefox uses its own settings, so that would explan why IE and Standalone fail, but Firefox does not.
