I always have my laptop hibernate after 1 hour or I manually hibernate it when I am done. I use RDP to connect to it and issue a WOL when I need it.
Now, right after I install Log me in Pro Trial as soon as I try to Hibernate, the laptop boots backup.
I unchecked the Wake on LAN but that actually disabled Wake on LAN on the NIC which I need.
Is this a limitation of the product? I also noted it seemed a little sluggish after the install too.
I restored my Windows 7 back to just before I installed Log Me in and all is normal again.
So the two questions are,
1. is there a way to have the laptop hibernate and NOT turn off WOL on the NIC while Log Me in is installed and turned on and if so, how.
2. Is it normal that there would be a performance hit on the laptop if Log Me in is listening for incoming requests.
Thanks
