Cannot access preferences

Hi all,

I installed LogMeIn onto my computer tonight, but when I tried to access it from my laptop, I came across error 4320

Error 4320 The Operator or Administrator has refused the request.

I have managed to find out how to resolve the problem, but upon accessing the control panel back on the installation, I noticed that the option to access preferences (where I could fix the issue) was greyed out, and I couldn't fix it. Is there any way to access it and fix the problem.
