Logmein pro: not clear subscription

Hello,

my logmein free is expired and thinking to use logmein pro.

Now one thing that I dont get is that it says that "basic" proposed 2 PCs as "remote".

As I have many PCs (5 to 10) under my control but only access 1 at the time... Do I need to have more than the basic ?

No; one host = one license. LMI's lowest-price Pro option is two remote hosts for $99/year...half that for the first year if you were already a "free" customer.

If you only need to access one host (or two), even $49 a year is WAAAAAY overpriced; look elsewhere in these forums for althernatives.

Each host computer that you wish to be able to remotely access needs a license, thus you will need the 10 account Pro package (one license for each of the 10 computers that you connect to). It doesn't matter where or what computer you use to browse from, unless that is one of the 10 that you remote control also.

For instance, you have a PC and a server at work. You use your PC to connect to your server. That's one license. But you also connect from your lap top at home to your PC. That's two. And you connect from the internet cafe across town to your PC/server from time to time one the weekends. Still only two since you don't need a license for your home or the cafe's computer.
