Remote Printing - Could someone help?

HI guys,

In have a question about remote printing and perhaps I misunderstand the useage.

I have a pc at home that i remotely access using Logmein.

I often travel and use my laptop to remotely access my pc at home. I would like to print some documents from my laptop to the printer attached to my pc at home. I am using logmein pro.

I can see the printer from the remote control toolbar. Printer seems connected from options. If i go to printers/devices on the home pc (via logmein) I can see the printer name via logmein.

The question is can i print say a word doc from my laptop to my printer at home so whn i get home the print out is available?

I cannot see the "printer via logmein" on my laptop as a selection.

I suspect I dont understand remote printing?

Anyway can someone let me know what i need to do?

Ok so I guess I understand correctly. But I dont see the "printer via logmein" as a printer on my laptop. So if I am using word and want to printa doc and select print the "printer via logmein" is not a printer on my laptop.

Any help? Anyone?

I'm no expert, but my understanding is that you should have no problem printing to the printer connected to the remote computer. The pro version allows you to print to a "remote" printer, meaining one that is where you are.

It should be alllowing you to print to the printer at home just as if you were sitting there in the room.
