I successfully connect to three host computers from my desktop PC to access Quickbooks data sets which I work on as a bookkeeper. Everything works fine when I use my Desktop PC but when I connect using my Acer Notebook a problem occurs when I use the TAB key to move to the next field. For example when I TAB to the date field, reference number field or amount field, the field is highlighted as usual but nothing appears when I type into those fields. I can overcome this if I use the mouse pointer and click which allows the field to accept my typing. Further when I press the TAB key to progress further into the page that I am on it doesen't take me into the body of the document but back to the begining of the header. I need to resolve this as there are many documents that I need to create and without having the TAB key work correctly the time it takes to complete each document is more that doubled.
My notebook is an Acer Travelmate with Windows 7. I also have Bit Defender Total Security Installed on all my computers. Can anyone help with this?
