Automate connection to computer in "Connect on LAN"

I'm wondering if there is anything in the API or command line that would allow me to automate the connection to a computer in the "Connect on LAN"? I know the coputer name and/or IP address at the point when I want to connect to it. It would be nice to not have to load Rescue, click on Computer, locate the computer and then connect to it, but instead automate all of that into a single click.

Anyone know if this is possible to do?
