Deploying LogMeIn on Mac OS X via Munki

I am needing some help deploying LogMeIn through Munki on Mac OS X and wanted to get some help. The way the package is currently designed it cannot be deployed, but I have fixed that. I have repackaged LogMeIn and have gotten it into an installer that can be deployed.

 

The issue is that even after I install LogMeIn with my custom package, the LogMeIn Control Panel must be opened and the power button must be pushed to make the computer available. When I install LogMeIn with the deployment package straigt from LMI Central's website, it completes this step for me and the compute is ready to go.

 

So my big question is what scripts if the official package running at the end of installation to fully enable LMI after installation. If I can figure that out than I can have a fully automated installation of LMI without any additional steps.

I actually just finished up this project and it is working great. LogMeIn uses a installer package that isn't deployable, so you first have to fix that.

 

I first used Absolute Install Ease to create a deployable installer and I could then upload to Munki. While that worked great, I still had to manually open LMI and make it connectable.

 

I opened the original LMI installer package and saw all the pre and post flight install and check scripts. I just copied and pasted those scripts into the proper areas into Munki and saved it.

 

I just deployed my custom installer today on a virtual machine and upon restarting LMI was installed and already accessible.
