Fyi: Something that may be beneficial to others.
I was having serious "mouse" issues while attempting to offer Rescue support and the same problem with Logmein on a Surface Pro. That is, I was offering assistance to a client that had a Surface Pro. I finally was able to figure out, the problem existed because my client had a monitor plugged into the Surface Pro while I was remotely connected. When my client unplugged the external monitor the problem went away and everything worked fine.
My guess is, this issue may not be an exclusive issue with the Surface Pro but possibly any laptop or computer where they system changes resolution to accomodate and external monitor.
