I logged in remotely and it gave me an option to Black out the screen of the computer i was accessing. I hit YES and now i can not see anything on my screen. How do i get it to go back so i can see stuff?
LogMeIn will be your bestfriend once you get used to it.
If you uninstalled LogMeIn from the clients computer. you will need to remove it from LogMeIn's list of computers on your end as well. You will need to do this before reinstalling it on that computer.
If you want back on the that clients computer just reinstall it on the computer again. And on your end in LogMeIn, that computer will get put into the Default group and you will need to move it to the group you or work created.
yes you can connect to the host pc IF you have it in your computer tab on logmein, what if you removed it as the pc was given tpo someone else at work and you dont have it in your computers list in logmein anymore, its a majpor issue and logmein is failing here, happening alreqady a few times at our company.
obviously I cannot readd it as the screen is blank
Go into the Preferences on the host computer(you may have to be physically there) and un-check the box next to "Use display accelerator" and you should be fine. The colors will most likely not be as good unless you change the settings on your computer and change the quality vs speed settings. Try changing the auto on and off and the other settings and it may respond favorably. In the case of the computer I was trying to connect to, it is a laptop with both the integrated Intel graphics and the AMD dedicated graphics. That is a common set up and it even caused a big problem getting the computer to even boot up quickly. There is a registry entry to turn off the power savings for the AMD and turn off the fast booting in the power settings. Sounds wrong but it went from booting in minutes to seconds. I think this is also affecting LogMeIn in showing the display.
Either way its a pretty easy fix. Remotely connect to your computer. When connected look above said computers desktop adn you should see a Toolbar. On that toolbar look for "Customize Toolbar" and left click on it once, then you should see a few more options and you want to connect on "COnnection Options". Lastly you should see "Blank Screen" with a check mark next to it. Click on blank screen to remove the check mark and you should be able to see the desktop again. If not, disconnect from the computer you are remotely connected to and sign back in.
It was in the latest update - do you connect to your stores via website or client desktop application?
I have the same problem. Did you find a solution?
