Feature request: Show image instead of blank screen

Hi,

I've found one old topic about this from 2013 without any replies so this has come up before, not sure i've i should have resurected the old post but here goes.

Would it be posible to display a full screen image on the remote host instead of blanking the screen?

My use case for this is that I have a few clients that have machines at receptiondesks / guardposts / shop entrances. When doing maintaince on those systems I blank the screen. Most of the times, about 5 seconds later our servicedesk recieves a call that the 'screen is broken'. So instead of blanking the screen i'd rather display an image with our company logo and the text 'Maintainace Mode' to let passerby's know the system is still working but is currently being maintained.

Our previous software had this feature, albeit it didn't always work as intended.

Yes Yes Yes! Please enable some perhaps gray or semitransparent image that we could customize with text from our support company. Something alongs the lines like "You workstation is undergoing maintenance by your IT company ACME Support. Please standby and do not power off your computer"

If you blank the screen, users turn it off. Which is a disaster during updates.

If you leave the screen on, users ask a thousand questions and then try to fix things on their own, making it worse.

For the epic price increases we''ve seen yearly, I'd expect some new features before everyone bails to a competitor. I'd rather not.

I would also like this feature, as users have been known to turn off the PC because they think it's not working! (Happened today).

Not sure how you would achieve this, though.
