Connecting..., disconnected

Greetings!

After a "clean" rebuild of Windows 7, when using IE 11 (even after a re-install of IE 11), when attempting to connect to any host, I get "Connecting ...." for 60 seconds, then "Disconnected". It used to work before the rebuild.

I have no problems when using Firefox.

Lets try IE in safe mode.

Open a 'Command Prompt' window
Type cd/ to get a blank C: prompt
Type in "C:\Program Files\Internet Explorer\iexplore.exe" -extoff (where C: is your local drive)
Press ENTER

Once in Safe Mode try to connect. Make sure all other IE windows are closed

Thank you for your reply.

1) "Try adding *\Logmein\* to your exclusions in your AV https scanning."

Everything works in Firefox; all other https sites work in IE.

2) "Also try adding the https://secure.logmein.com to your trusted sites."

"There is something blocking https either in IE or your AV"

Remember that I can connect to https://secure.logmein.com; I just can't establish a connection to any hosts after I get there in IE.

Try adding *\Logmein\* to your exclusions in your AV https scanning. Also try adding the https://secure.logmein.com to your trusted sites. There is something blocking https either in IE or your AV
