I closed an open session where I have Unattended Access. But in the Unattended Computer list it is marked as In Session (it is not). How do I release this status and reconnect without starting over. Why does this happen? I see if often and it frustrates me.
Hi Tiim,
With unattended acceess, if there are lost packets or data during disconnection, it may lead to the session getting stuck- in thes cases, restarting the unattended access service in the services console should resolve this, or else rebooting the PC.
If they fail with Unattended Access, can you try the following:
1) Go to 'services.msc'
2) Look for the LMI_Rescue_UA or LogMeIn Rescue service on that machine
3) Right click on the service and select 'properties'
4) copy the 'service name'
5) open up a command prompt by going to start > run and type 'cmd'
6) in the command line type 'sc delete' and the 'service name'
7) press enter
8) reboot the PC
9) re-deploy Unattended access on that machine
Please let me know if these help and have a nice day!
