Hello, I'm having a memory issue and wonder if anyone else is having similar problems.
I'm having an issue that cropped up all of a sudden this week Wednesday, where LogMeIn.exe immediately upon startup (within 10 or 20 seconds) utilizes as much memory as it can allocate. I'm running Windows 7, and it was using 3.4 gigs of RAM in a screenshot I was able to capture, but which I can't include here in this forum post since apparently images are not allowed. The memory allocation jumps around a fair amount at the start - I saw it go up to almost 6 gigs. I basically have to force shutdown as my computer has 8 gigs of ram but can't handle it - it slows down to a crawl. I had to reboot into Safe Mode and delete LMI from the /program files/ folder so that I can start up normally.
I uninstalled and reinstalled the newest version, but that didn't address the issue.
Is this a known issue, and does anyone have any suggestions on resolving this? I emailed the support address, but I also thought the forum might be a good place to ask.
