Is there a way to have a computer connect to other than the desktop and see only one icon, and not have access to everything on the host computer?

If someone is connected to my desktop and we are both working on the same application is there a way to prevent both from saving to the same database – can the database be saved from being corrupted?

Hi,

With GoToMyPC when you connect it is the same as if you were sitting in front of the Host computer. The only way to limit what the person connecting sees when they connect, is to set up a new Windows User account on the computer that is restricted to only the files you want them to access. When they connect via GoToMyPC they have to log on to the computer as that Windows user.

In regards to your second question, only one person can work on the Host computer at a time. Imagine the person connecting via GoToMyPC is actually sitting at the computer with you, also trying to use the mouse and keyboard at the same time you are.
