I access my home computer via a severaly locked down work computer, which will not accept any downloads/installs of executables. I can't change that nor do I want to deal with IT support.
The Universal Viewer used to work without any problem. Now it does not show up any more - contrary to the support link below. I automatically get the screen to download an .exe file - there's no other option on that screen at all (and the screen is in any case different from what is shown on the support link below - which screen is exactly what I used to get before when Universal Viewer was working).
What's happening?? I am certain I have Java installed and enabled. It is an "old version", being 6.39 instead of 7.25, but it runs, and this cannot be the reason for failure - unless GotoMyPC absolutely requires the latest version?? I am sure I had "old" versions before and it still worked beautifully, without fail.
