Excel compatibility issues?

I can't open excel documents from a remote computer without one of the following two screen captures happening.

I have seen other complaints about this and have not seen a solution for it. Has anyone figured this out?

My host computer is running Office 365 on Windows 8.1. One remote computer is running Office 10 on Windows 7 and another is running Office 365 on Windows 8.1. and get the same results.

Or can someone recommend a better site to handle my work needs?

Hi,

I'm sorry to hear about the trouble you've had with opening Excel documents. I was wondering if you'd be willing to try a couple of things:

On your host computer double click on the MYPC icon in the system tray
In the GoToMyPC Preferences click the Printing tab
Uncheck "Set the selected Printer as default while the session is in progress"

Click OK
Close and re-open Microsoft Excel

If these steps don't work, re-open the GoToMyPC Preferences
Click the Viewer Tab
Uncheck Copy and Paste between computers
Click OK

Please let me know if that works for you.
