Can I connect to a remote license server on the remote computer from the host session

My remote computer has a network license server and dongle for software I use. I want to operate the software on the host computer. This requires the host to obtain license authorization from the remote. I am able to do this with VPN software but not GoToMyPC. Is there a way to do this?

Hi,

GoToMyPC and VPNs operate in different ways:

VPN = Virtual Private Network, it connects you computer to the network as if it was actually there, this is why you can register.
GoToMyPC transmits the screen, keyboard and mouse of the computer. There is no shared network connection.

To use GoToMyPC you would need to connect to a computer on the network with the dongle and software, and then operate the software on that computer remotely.
