What are we doing and why?
We have ended our support for the security protocol SSL v3 as it is outdated and no longer secure. Continuing to support that protocol could expose customers that are using outdated browsers and operating systems to security risks.
Who will be affected?
This change will impact Windows XP and Windows Server 2003 users that are using Internet Explorer v8 or lower as well as Windows XP Safari users.
How can I check if I am affected?
You can determine if your users are impacted by using the following link to test whether their browsers currently support TLS 1.0 or higher:
https://www.ssllabs.com/ssltest/viewMyClient.html
If that test indicates the browser does not support TLS 1.0 you will need to take one of the actions outlined below.
What can I do if I am affected?
The easiest way for you to join sessions going forward is to use either the
Google Chrome or
Mozilla Firefox browser instead. Alternatively you can update to a newer version of Internet Explorer through a Windows update.
