Java blocking Goto since update

Java updated this morning and now we cannot connect, consistently getting an error "Application Blocked by Java Security".

Name: JavaViewer

Reason: Your security settings have blocked an untrusted application from running

Java updates have gone by and removed the ability to bump to medium security and when I try to add GoToMyPC.com or the direct web address when I try to connect, it bounces back saying that even though I have an exception it will still block it since it is hosted from a different domain/network.

If we cannot get around this Java issue we will have no choice but to join the many others that have dropped GTMPC for a program that is more user friendly, when it comes to being able to access the pc my software is on. Nothing in google search shows anything other than creating exceptions, there is no solid article on GTMPC itself, we have tried dropping every security in IE, Java, and Firefox. The only way I can get it to start working is to downgrade java to 7.x and even then it sticks on "establishing connection".

Anyone have any good ideas that will salvage this relationship?

Awesome! They did not bother telling myself or my employer that they had made any changes after they called to tell us it was not working!
Can you please disable the UV, at least for now, to see if the system will go back to working as it should? I will check directly with Dominique, after testing the other lady can go back to working like she normally does, to see what we can do to find a better resolution for her Chromebook.
I understand Chrome no longer supports Java, which is why I tested IE and downloaded/tested Firefox as well.

Please let me know as soon as you have disabled the UV so that I can remote into the system to verify it is working again.

Ok, I see what happened. Dominique called us early yesterday morning to enable the universal viewer so that she could connect using her Chromebook. The universal viewer runs in Java, which Google has dropped complete support for in Chrome. We can disable the universal viewer so that she can go back to using our standard viewer for her Windows 7 machine if it's not even working on her Chromebook (at least as a temporary workaround until we can troubleshoot the UV running).

Sorry to hear of the ongoing frustrations. The UV should only be required in some unsupported environments. If you're on a supported system, and have some admin rights, I'm sure we can run the full client application with you. What OS and admin rights do you currently have on this problem PC?

I started by calling your support team for assistance. It is your support team that informed me he "knew nothing about Java" and since it was third party causing the issue y'all could not assist me.
I am using yoru Universal Viewer because that is the only method I know of...I have read of an application that I can install on the computer I am using to the the remote but could find nothing when I started searching for a download.
What other options exist, other than calling to check our account?

Hi Will, I'm sorry for the delayed response to your issue. If Java is throwing the notification, it sounds like you're using our Universal Viewer; is that for any particular reason? I am presuming you are using Windows since you mentioned Internet Explorer.

I think it might be best to have you call our support team so that we can take a look at the environment, review your account configuration (from our end), and see what exactly is going on.
