Host pc locks up after disconnecting from client.

Host PC locks up after I disconnect from client pc. If i log into the host pc from my client pc, it works fine until I disconnect. Once I disconnect, if I try to connect again, it connects but I have no control. No curser movement on the host, can't remote send a control alt delete, nothing. I have no option but to disconnect. Once I disconnect, I try to connect again but this time it says it can't connect and there must be an issue with the host pc. If I have someone at the host pc restart it, because the screen, keyboard and mouse stay locked as if still connected, I can connect again like normal but then the pattern repeats itself. In other words, once I connect, I cannot disconnect until i'm finished working, because once I do I know I won't be able to get back in until someone restarts the host again. This just started within the past month or two. Host pc is running windows 7 pro 64bit. Once the host locks, i cannot connect from any other client either. Updated to the latest version on my host pc today hoping this would fix but it did not. Any suggestions?

Hi Thomas,
This issue is pretty old on the Community thread, and was never really confirmed. However, some people reported that a fresh re-install of GoToMyPC on the Host computer helped. Also, checking for any system or hardware driver updates.

Please let us know if it starts happening again, we might be able to learn something from the log files.

Turns out that uninstalling gotomypc and then doing a clean re-install seems to have fixed the issue. So far so good. Hopefully the issue won't start again.
